Mullinax Ford Partners with Operation Gratitude to Serve Our Troops

June 13^th, 2013 – The Mullinax Ford is partnering with Operation Gratitude to earn care packages that will be sent to our military members overseas as well as their family members, veterans, wounded warriors, and first responders.

Beginning June 13^th, customers who come to any Mullinax Ford dealership and test drive a new car will earn one care package to be sent to a military member in his or her name. Each care package will be valued at around $100 and will include letters, snacks, and entertainment items.

Operation Gratitude’s slogan, “Going Further for Our Troops” is evident in this great event. Ford will assist Operation Gratitude with donations of up to 4,000 care packages.

The event coincides with Flag Day on June 14^th, as well as the Ford company’s 100^th anniversary on June 16^th. “This event will give customers the opportunity to try out all of the latest and greatest Ford models, including the brand new 2013 Ford Escape, the new Ford Fusion Energi, or any of our other 2013 model cars and trucks, all while contributing to a great cause,” said Jerry Mullinax, Owner of Mullinax Ford.

Customers who come in to test drive a car or get their current car serviced will also have the opportunity to write letters of encouragement to military members that will be included in the care packages.

Summary: For every person who test drives a new Ford vehicle during this four-day event, Ford Motor Company and Mullinax Ford will send a donation for a Care Package to Operation Gratitude.

Notes: Participants must be 18 or older and have a valid driver’s license. All test drives will last approximately 7-10 minutes.

I like the up front pricing and no ridiculous “hidden” fees. For that reason alone I would go back.

Review: Purchased an F-150 from Mullinax. Mike and Aramis were easy to work with; low pressure and no silliness. I respect that. I would recommend either to a prospective customer. I like the up front pricing and no ridiculous “hidden” fees. For that reason alone I would go back. As far as service after the sale, we’ll see. This is the first time I’ve used this dealer, so I have no history here. My only interaction with the service dept has been positive and efficient, but it was a trivial cosmetic repair. But based on what I’ve seen so far, I’m hopeful.
